IRONMAN Certified Coach, USAT Certified Coach
Born and raised in Mahopac, NY, Mike has dedicated his life to helping athletes discover what they are truly capable of. As an endurance coach at Empire Performance PT, Mike works with runners and endurance athletes of all abilities—from first-time 5K runners to experienced marathoners and triathletes—helping them train smarter, stay healthy, and reach goals they once thought were out of reach.
Mike believes that successful coaching goes far beyond simply writing a training plan. Every athlete is unique, and their program should reflect their goals, experience, lifestyle, and strengths. His coaching philosophy centers around consistency, individualized training, injury prevention, and building confidence through the training process. Whether the goal is crossing a first finish line or setting a personal best, Mike is committed to helping every athlete enjoy the journey.
Growing up, Mike developed a passion for endurance sports and understands firsthand the dedication required to balance training with work, family, and everyday life. He believes that endurance sports have the power to build discipline, resilience, and confidence that extends far beyond race day.
Working alongside the physical therapists at Empire Performance PT provides athletes with a unique advantage. Mike collaborates closely with the clinical team to help athletes remain healthy, address small issues before they become injuries, and create a seamless transition between rehabilitation and performance.
Mike enjoys helping athletes prepare for races of every distance, improve their running efficiency, increase endurance, and build long-term success through sustainable training. His greatest reward is seeing athletes accomplish goals they once believed were impossible.
Whether you're training for your first race, chasing a Boston Marathon qualifier, preparing for an IRONMAN, or simply looking to become a stronger and healthier runner, Mike is excited to help you every step of the way.
